Arsenal Kids

We strive to create and promote an inclusive, healthy and safe community through the study of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Located in Huntsville, Alabama, Arsenal BJJ was founded to provide a community-focused space to grow the passion for BJJ and grappling for competition and self-defense in the Madison County area.

Owner/Head Instructor, Dr. Brian F. Moore is a brown belt and an 20-year practitioner of the art under 5th-degree black belt and Team Big Brothers co-founder, Master Leo Dalla of Washington, D.C.

BJJ is the most effective fighting system in the world. 90% of fights end up on the ground. No matter your skill level or strategy when standing, once a fight goes down, your ground game is the last line of defense. Today, you can see from the UFC match to the school-yard fight the importance of handling yourself on the ground.

BJJ is also known as the “gentle art”, allowing a smaller, weaker person to use leverage and submissions to defend himself against a bigger unskilled opponent.

BJJ is great for kids, building the confidence and self-discipline of martial art, with an even greater focus on problem-solving, strategy and preparation.
